Privacy Policy

This explains what data we collect when you use our website, store, game servers and Discord, and what we do with it. Last updated 7 November 2026.

Who is responsible

Oaze DayZ Network is the data controller for the data described here. Contact us about privacy by opening a ticket on our Discord or email oazedayz@oaze.lt.

What we collect

  • Steam account: your SteamID64, Steam name and avatar when you sign in to the store or join a server.
  • Orders: what you bought, the price, the server it was delivered to, the date, and the PayPal transaction ID and payment status. We never see or store your card or bank details. PayPal handles the payment.
  • Game server data: your SteamID, in-game name, IP address, connection times, chat, kills and other in-game events. Servers log these for anti-cheat, moderation and the leaderboard.
  • Discord: messages and tickets you send in our Discord server.
  • Website: standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) kept by our host.

Why we use it

To deliver what you buy and keep order records (performing our contract with you, and legal obligations for tax records). To run the servers, stop cheating and enforce the rules (our legitimate interest in keeping the game fair and secure). To show leaderboards and kill feeds (legitimate interest). We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only services we use to run Oaze: PayPal (payments), Valve/Steam (sign-in), Hostinger (website hosting), CFTools (server management, bans and player history), BattlEye (anti-cheat) and Discord. Each handles data under its own privacy policy. Some of them process data outside the UK, under their own safeguards for international transfers.

Cookies

The store uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in. The site may save small settings in your browser (like a selected filter). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Order records: up to 6 years, for tax and accounting. Ban records: as long as the ban lasts. Server logs and website logs: kept for a limited time, then deleted or overwritten.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Some data (for example order records or active ban records) we may need to keep. Ask by Discord ticket and include your SteamID. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
